1Title:  To the public: I have just observed in the U.S. Telegraph of the 24th of May, a letter signed "Edward King," and dated the 17th May, at Chillicothe. Col. King offers his letter as an "act of self defence [i.e. defense]," and a reply to my letter to Gen. Duff Green, of the 17th April
